Syllabus
1. For Hearing impaired and Physically Challenged children: Students from Levels I to III are trained individually in speech, writing skills and languages. Syllabus prescribed by U.P. Board, Allahabad is followed for the children at primary and middle school levels. Syllabus prescribed by National Institute of Open Schooling, Govt. of Indio is followed for children at secondary and senior secondary levels.
2. For Intellectually Challenged Children: Here each child is provided with an individual Education Plan and Care Plan that are carefully monitored and regularly re-assessed. They are offered education and skill as per. the curriculum planned separately for each age group level and, formulated by Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt. of India.
The curriculum for intellectually challenged covers the following topics:
1. Pedagogical Strategies: Play Woy, Montessori, multisensory, creative and performing arts.
2. Child Centered Teaching: Short attention, poor memory, problem solving, lock of creativity and poor understanding.
3. Special Teaching: Speech, language and communication.
4. Self Help Skills: Dressing up, mealtime etiquettes and toilet training.
5. Functional: Pre-reading and pre-writing concept and Academics pre-moth concepts.
6. Application of Functional Academics in Community: Reading signboards, use of telephone, writing letters, banking, shopping, and making use of public utility services.
7. Pre-vocational Skills: Daily living skills, occupational skills, vocational rehabilitation.
